MA|Architects, Inc. has an exceptional opportunity for a full-time Entry-Level Designer based in our Los Angeles area office to support our growing portfolio of healthcare projects. As a small, studio-based design firm our team members are afforded multiple opportunities to gain experience with all aspects of each project from concept through construction.
Qualifications:
- Possess an accredited degree in Architecture or Interior Design (BS or BArch) within 1yr of hire date.
- 0-3 years of professional experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Develop design drawings from conception through construction documents using Revit and/or CAD
- Assist Project Architect with programming, space planning, and material selections
- Participate in client and consultant meetings
- Address coordination items under the supervision of senior team members
- Research building code and other project requirements Opportunity to work on several project types simultaneously.
